I always look forward to my showers because I get to use my coveted bar soaps and various scrubs, but Kahina Giving Beauty’s new Moroccan Beldi Soap is an entirely new shower experience on which I’ve become completely hooked!
“What is this?” I thought to myself when I received a jar of Kahina Giving Beauty’s new Moroccan Beldi Soap. I mean here was this gorgeous, dark green, viscous soap with the silkiest feel- a completely different texture from anything else I’ve ever used in the shower before. Plus, the scent was addictive: a refreshing and energizing (yes, so energizing) Eucalyptus that you will most definitely want to incorporate into your morning routine. If you don’t know, Eucalyptus + shower vapors = serious feelings of empowerment and world domination. *UPDATE: It also now comes in Rose and Neroli scents!
Beldi soap is a traditional Moroccan treatment used to prep the skin for exfoliation or used in place of soap and shower gel. With only two ingredients (olive oil and eucalyptus leaf oil) it’s naturally rich in Vitamin E and so hydrating for the skin. After having used it one night, I was so, so impressed with how soft my skin was in bed that evening. How do you use it? You’ll apply the soap after you’ve been in the shower for about 5-10 minutes, massage it all over your body (this is my favorite part as the texture is so unique) and then you’ll leave it on the skin for up to 10 minutes, rinsing with warm water. Follow up with an exfoliation (or not) and you’re good to go! I’m highly recommending this as it’s something completely new and honestly, if you’re not a morning person (but are required to be one) this will be an essential part of your morning shower routine.
