Brand new from Josh Rosebrook! It’s Balance Shampoo + Conditioner! Never tried Josh? Well, this might be the first of his products you should invest in, my sweet!
First off, if you know anything about Josh Rosebrook’s products, you’ll know that he uses stellar ingredients, his products always smell so fantastic and that they work most effectively! I was really intrigued when I heard that Josh came out with a shampoo/conditioner for Normal to Oily hair because often I find that I need to wash my hair more often due to a shampoo/conditioner being too, well, conditioning.
Remember that Calvin Klein tagline, “Ah, the smell of it!” Well, that’s exactly what I said when I smelled this in the shower. This citrus-scented, lathering, non-toxic shampoo is designed to balance out excessive oiliness and create volume. What I’m most shocked about? This is the first shampoo/conditioner duo that I’ve ever tried that helps me cut down on the amount of times that I need to wash my hair. It really works. My hair is light, bouncy (gotta love that 70s word) clean and smells amazing. I usually have to wash my hair every other day and I’m finding now that I get another day out of it and it looks perfect. How? I’m not sure, but it’s all true. Somehow Josh uses pure conditioning ingredients that we can all recognize, yet gets them to work together in a way that won’t weigh down the hair. To name a few ingredients, there’s sage, oregano, peppermint, thyme, lavender, rosemary, horsetail and burdock. My hair feels stronger isn’t the least bit dried out, which is something that I often find with normal to oily shampoos. So, I’m giving this an A+. I would not steer you wrong. Oh, and this duo is great for color-treated hair, too! $30
The cool thing about this incredibly light conditioner is that it makes my hair feel soft and sil-kay, but doesn’t weigh it down, nor do I have oily-feeling hair within a day (usually, the norm). I’m actually not quite sure how Josh actually managed this with a conditioner, because it does strike the perfect balance between giving you healthy, soft, voluminous hair, but without the frizz or too much moisture. Well done. I only put this on my ends because I usually don’t need conditioner for my bangs. With Coconut oil, meadowfoam, sage, oregano, peppermint, thyme and lavender, thymol, rosemary, horsetail and burdock, you’re getting the best organic herbal infusions and plant oils, too. So, here’s your new conditioner that will give you soft hair without any of the oily feel. I know, I have to say, I’m impressed. $30
If you’ve got dry hair or just hair that has been damaged by the sun this Summer, get it healthier with Josh’s Nourish Shampoo and Conditioner. This was my shampoo and conditioner for the entire summer at the beach house. Between the sun and the salt in the air, my hair was fried on the ends. So, I started using only Nourish Shampoo and conditioner and wore it in a braid. Not only did that keep the color, but it really kept it soft the whole season. Nourish is SUPER moisturizing and you only need a little of the conditioner. If you want to use this as a treatment once a week, that would be great, too. I definitely recommend this if you’ve done some heat or color damage to your hair. $30
