AXIOLOGY LIPSTICKS

Finally, some new lipsticks in Green Beauty!  Why is everyone buzzing about Axiology?   For a few reasons:

INGREDIENTS  Their ingredients are clean – no toxins, harsh chemicals, synthetics or animal testing,  just natural and organic ingredients.

PACKAGING  Their packaging is eco. The paper is made from small woman-run recycled paper store in Bali. The paper used for their boxes is from paper waste from all over the island (decorated by hand).  How cool is that?  Not only is Axiology helping recycle, but also helping women stay employed!  Plus, use of this paper is helping the waste problem on the island!

CONSISTENCY  Some of the lipsticks have a tinted balm feel, others are creamier with more pigment.  They are smooth and they last, too!

CHARITY  Axiology is donating 6% of their 2015 profits to Orangutan Foundation International…nice, eh?

LOV ORGANIC

How much fun is getting to test out tea?  I was so excited to get this as I love a great tea and especially an organic, ECOCERT brand.  I brought these to the summer house this weekend and we all sat around on the porch and tried them out.  My best friend is now hooked.  Here’s what I tried:

Lov is Good   I love a tea with that pretty spicy scent to it and this one is it.  With Cardamom, Cloves, Cinnamon, Fennel, Anise, Licorice, Pepper and Ginger, the smell alone is to die for.   This will be a big hit with some chocolate chip cookies!

Lov is Beautiful  This tea smells like thee most delicious bowl of fruit ever.  It’s light, summery and smells like apricots and peaches!  It’s made with white tea, green tea and green rooibos. It also has pieces of mango and pineapple…yeah, can you just imagine the taste of this.  I’ve made myself some iced tea with it too, and it’s just thee perfect Summer drink…fruity, light and refreshing.

Lov is Pure  I’m a green tea fanatic and was so excited to see the combination of citrus, apple pieces and yerba mate (benefits are: antioxidants, amino acids, polyphenols, vitamins and minerals).  I usually like to add some lemon to my tea, but with this one, you need absolutely nothing.  It’s so nice to just have a flavorful tea that can stand alone.  

MIZTERA

I love the brands we all know in Green Beauty, but it’s always fun to introduce you to new brands.  When Alice contacted me about Miztera, I hadn’t heard of them before, but I loved the look of the ingredients and her mission.  There’s nothing like handcrafted, pure skin care that is good enough to eat. Hearty and healthy, Alice has got some hits on her hands (literally).

The Wonder Scrub  I used this up so fast because I loved the feel of my skin and never needing moisturizer when I got out of the shower.  Why is this different?  Because it has brown sugar, ground almonds, Brazil nuts and coffee grounds housed in a creamy and thick formulation of Shea butter, Cocoa butter, Coconut and Jojoba oils.  So it’s almost like having a scrub mixed in with a body butter.  The result?  Soft skin and absolutely ZERO need for a moisturizer after you get out of the shower.  I’m actually missing this as I’m writing about it!

The Wonder Butter + Divine Blossom Body Butter  They’re rich, they’re creamy but you know the best thing about these body butters?  They melt into the skin with ease.  I use this all over my body, but it works wonders on dry hands, feet, elbows or wherever you need heavy-duty moisture.  The Wonder Butter smells like cocoa butter and the Divine Blossom smells like a regal mix of  Frankincense, Myrrh, Neroli and Bergamot.  They also have thee most perfect ingredient list, too:  Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil, Almond, Sweet Oil, Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E, Essential oils.

The Healing Balm  A perfectly smooth lip balm with the purest of pure ingredients.  It’s unscented, so everyone can enjoy it.   It has  Cupuaçu butter from the Amazon, organic beeswax, Castor oil, Calendula-infused olive oil and Vitamin E.  Use it on minor skin irritations, too!
