HONEY SHAVE

Are you a shaver? Yeah, me, too. It doesn’t matter if no one will be seeing my legs, I’m shaving them every time I’m in the shower (Virgo over here). The bummer about shaving so much? It definitely takes a toll on your skin (I usually use a bar of soap when shaving). Oh, la, la, this stuff works! I’ve been putting this unscented honey lip balm on before bed (or when I’m working from home as I’m always wearing lipstick if I’m out) and I have to tell you, it feels super smooth (not tacky) going on and it feels even better waking up with such soft lips. This non-greasy lip balm derived from 99% natural and organic ingredients has a perfect texture – creamy yet not heavy or sticky. Why is this balm especially great for the Winter? Well, honey is a natural humectant that draws moisture from the air and it also provides a natural barrier without being too thick. Key ingredients? Calendula (soothing), beeswax (conditions and protects) and pomegranate (moisturizes). Just a touch of this would be great as a base for some of the matte lipsticks out there, too!

HONEY POLISH – HAND AND FOOT REPAIR

If you know me, you know I’m a big fan of pedicures (and manicures) and I love a good foot scrub for at-home use, too. Marin Bee has created a hand and foot polish that’s non-abrasive, but will give you a great exfoliation on your hands and feet. Key ingredients are aloe, salt and olive oil and it has a thick, gel-like consistency. I’ve been applying it to damp feet (I sit on the edge of the tub pre-shower) and scrub in a circular motion all over my feet (heels get the most attention). This will gently exfoliate, leaving the skin soft, but not greasy (you won’t slip in the tub after application). You can also use it on your hands, dry elbows and knees. I love this!
