My Stink-free Life: Clean Deodorants, Soap, Wipes And More!

I’m forever on the search for clean green beauty that will keep me smelling fresh especially during the hot weather.  Here’s some of what I’ve found works for me!  

Yuni Shower Sheets     These sheets save me during the summer.  Biodegradable, super large and super effective, these wipes are a must if you are going to be traveling and out in the sun.  I’m a big sweater, so I carry a few in my bag and start off by wiping down anything that’s sticky and sweaty and then, lastly, the armpits.  Not only do they smell great, but because they’re so large, you feel as though you’re wiping off with a fresh towel that smells great.  They are so soft and they contain antibacterial Neem, Peppermint and Citrus!  Shop here.

LoveFresh Super Strength Deodorant    I’m actually updating this review because I’m really, really loving this deodorant.  So much so that I’ve been planning my next purchase already.  The scent is of a light Cedar Wood and it’s been keeping me smelling fresh for hours.  Love Fresh’s Super Strength has double the baking soda and for some reason it doesn’t irritate my skin at all.  In fact, it actually has the skin under my arms smooth and stink-free.  This is, by far, my new favorite.  Please give it a try if you’re in the market for a new deodorant!   Shop here.

Sovereign Silver Gel  I know, I know, this sounds crazy and no one that I know is doing it…yet, but it works.  So, silver is antimicrobial and since I’ve used some deodorant sprays before that contain silver, I decided to give this a shot and it’s working for me.  I just apply a little of the gel under my arms, let it dry and then apply my deodorant.  It totally keeps me drier and, no stink!  Try it.  I love it.  Get it here.  

Kaia Naturals Deodorant Booster Bar    I love this.  First off, I’m obsessed with charcoal and its effects (but that’s for another post).  This booster bar is a soap on a rope that was created specifically to manage odors caused by bacteria on the skin (underarms and feet).  It’s made with activated charcoal and apple cider vinegar to fight off bacteria and leave you feeling fresh.  I use this before and after my yoga classes.

AER Next Level and Routine Deodorants Even though it comes housed in plastic (which is annoying) Vapour’s new AER deodorant works.  You need very little of this gel to powder formula for it to give you lasting results.  Their “potent plant + mineral complex effectively combats odor and bacteria at the source.”  Oh, and the scents are heavenly, too.  Don’t want to commit?   Get the trial set!   You can also try new Routine Deodorant which comes in lots and lots of scents AND choices of vegan or baking soda-free. I couldn’t pick a scent that I loved the best.  They’re creamy and feel great on the pits!  Get them here.

Ora’s Amazing Herbal Body Powder    No more talc, okay?  It’s no good for you.  Read up on it.   This scent, Blissful Earth is, by far, my favorite scent of Ora’s powders.  This handcrafted natural body powder is made with essential oils of Vetiver, Lavender, and Clary Sage and it also contains naturally anti-odor, antibacterial and anti-fungal ingredients.  It’s talc free, grain free, gluten free, paraben free, synthetic fragrance free and cruelty free.  Use it on your body, under your pits, sensitive areas and on feet, too!  I bring this to my waxing appointments, too and carry the travel size in my bag.

EO Deodorant Wipes  These organic wipes are made from renewable plant fibers, so they’re gentle on the environment (I’m not a fan of traditional wipes that pollute the oceans and never seem to break down).  These wipes come in both Lavender and Tea Tree scent and are so effective.  The essential oil combined with the organic ethanol kills bacteria (those are the little guys that feed on our sweat and get us smelling in the first place).  I use these when I’m out all day, at the beach or need to re-apply my deodorant.  

Meow Meow Tweet’s Underarm Primer   What?  I know, it sounds crazy, but it’s great.  Sometimes people have reactions to their deodorants and need a little extra love for under their arms.  This nourishing primer helps to soften up and calm the underarms with its anti-inflammatory and pH balancing formula.   So, if you’ve got an issue with irritated pits, but you love your deodorant, you might wanna give this baby a try…it’s addictive and feels so good!
