New Things from Ginger Chi, Rachel’s Plan Bee + Jane Iredale

Jade, new scents and a limited edition, too!

I’ve been using a Gua Sha tool for a few months now and I have to say that I love how my skin feels after I use it (and during, to be honest). When I do Gua Sha, it feels like I’m actually doing a workout for my skin (I liken it to yoga for the face) and it really brings the blood to the surface, brightens the skin, breaks down any tension (seriously) and is so relaxing. You can feel the tension leaving your face as you do it, too.

The Chi Therapy Jade Rollers are a big hit and it seems as though everyone is encouraging me to incorporate it into me skin care regimen. The benefits? Help refine pores, reduce puffiness around eyes, facial tension, improves circulation, sinus conditions and oxygen flow. I’m going to keep mine in the fridge and use it in the morning!

What’s new for me to try? The Jade Chi Mask Therapy. I used this this morning when I meditated and plan on using it before I go to sleep at night. It’s sooooo cooling, it’s like a much easier, prettier and better version of cucumbers! Some of the benefits of the mask are that it improves blood circulation, releases toxins, relaxes face muscles and skin and helps with inflammation and congestion. I recommend this as it’s super, super relaxing…keep it in the fridge!

If you’ve ever tried any product from Rachel’s Plan Bee, you’re in love with it. A handcrafted line made in Texas, Rachel creates seriously solid products that work so well and smell absolutely delicious (she’s known for her scents). Her latest Hand + Body Wash scents are Lavender Spirit (omg, love) and Coconut Beach. If you’re a lavender fan, you’ll love the light mix of lavender, chamomile, citrus and vanilla and if you’re a fan of that summer/coconut/beach scent, go straight for the Coconut Beach (every summer house needs one at the sink). These soaps have a great lather and are rich and silky. They’re like the top of the top of hand washes if that’s what you’re using it for and I love the glass bottles (can be ordered in shower safe plastic, if need be).
