I will say this and I’ve said it before: Red Apple makes thee creamiest lipsticks in all of Green Beauty Land. If you’re sick of semi matte or matte, you’ll want to get on this. In addition, they’re vegan and gluten-free. Today they’re releasing six new lipsticks and two new lip glosses.
I’m usually obsessed with all things pink, but I have to say, I’m LOVING these nudes they have. For some reason, I’m able to pull them off because they’re not ashy and they have a great apricot undertone (which suits pretty much everybody). Here are the new colors and descriptions from Red Apple (modified by me):
THE LIPSTICKS
Risque
This warm-toned red is bright and beautiful but can be worn bold with more than one coat. It has orange undertones in it vs. pink undertones. If you have warm or neutral undertones, and don’t want a red that turns pink on you – this is the color for you. Risqué is a creamy and moisturizing lipstick, that wears to a matte finish with no shimmer.
Twist N Pout
LOVE THIS! Twist ‘N Pout is a warm-toned middle pink with a hint of coral, that’s your lips but better. The perfect no-lipstick-lipstick for warm toned or neutral ladies. Creamy and moisturizing, this no-shimmer lipstick wears to a matte finish that smooths your lips for a flawless finish. Beautiful, light, pigmented and long-lasting. This color will look especially beautiful on medium and darker skin tones.
Unpinkable
Unpinkable is a very pigmented smooth and creamy lipstick with no shimmer. It’s a deep berry fuchsia-y pink that has an ever so slight, teeny bit of red in it. This lipstick is a warm color with cool undertones. It’ll look great on a variety of skin tones. For those with light skin or lightly pigmented lips this lipstick will provide a nice pop of color. On medium to darker skin or lips it turns into a beautiful darker fuchsia.
Petal To The Metal
LOVE! Petal To The Metal is a creamy, pigmented rosy/mauve medium pink that has a slight shimmer to it. It’s moisturizing, light weight on the lips and very wearable; day or night. Little hints of berry/purple are present and gorgeous. It has a warm overtone and cool undertone making it a beautiful lipstick on anyone.
Beachside
MY FAVORITE! Beachside is a medium, peachy-tan nude that is creamy, moisturizing, long lasting and wears to a matte finish. This no-shimmer lipstick has a very earthy, natural tone to it. Perfect for women with warm or neutral undertones this lipstick is classic and timeless – a gorgeous nude for a multitude of occasions. It’s so creamy and pretty, I looove it!
Firecracker
Firecracker is a warm toned medium, spicy, orange red that resembles paprika. This unique color has no shimmer. Wear this color lightly with one coat or super bold with three coats.
THE GLOSSES
S.W.A.K
S.W.A.K. (Sealed With A Kiss) is a silky pigmented medium mauve/pink gloss. It is smooth, creamy, moisturizing, shiny and not sticky whatsoever.
Feels like butter on the lips. Hint of vanilla scent. This will look great on those with medium pink lips but adapts well to any lip color or skin tone.
Tiny Dancer
ANOTHER FAVORITE! Tiny Dancer is a beautiful neutral nude gloss. Smooth, creamy and moisturizing – and not sticky! This gloss has no shimmer but superior shine. It just enhances your natural lip color. Has a hint of a vanilla scent.
