Gigja Wesneski is very passionate about her products. It’s the first thing that struck me when she emailed me about Pure Balance, her face oil created for skin that is more on the “normal” side of hydration (pretty balanced), but needs relief from irritation, inflammation, redness and blemishes at times. It’s perfect for skin suffering from lack of sleep or even indulging in inflammatory foods. I look so forward to using Grapefruit Cleanse +Hydrate Balm, it’s nuts. I even took it on my recent trip across the country. Why? Because it’s an all-around stellar cleanser that will clean your skin so well while the moisturizing ingredients in this balm leave your skin hydrated and ready for makeup. This delicious grapefruit-scented balm is so pure, it can also be used alone as a moisturizer. To cleanse, just massage a little all over your face, rinse with warm water and then take a warm cloth and rub off any residual cleanser and/or makeup. I don’t care what kind of skin you have, this cleansing balm will benefit everyone. It does contain coconut oil, so read all ingredients. I’m a fan for life on this one. $42
DN UNIK
If you just love using a light, yet super effective moisturizing cream, you will be in love with DN Unik’s Age-Defying Day and Night Creams. With hyaluronic acid naturally obtained from fermented algae and plant life, these creams are soft, smell heavenly and absorb so quickly. They feel more like a light lotion and are so easy to use. I also brought these with me as I traveled because the packaging is perfect. With these creams I needed no additional face oil and they are perfect before makeup application. The Night Cream also has Raspberry Seed Oil which is rich in Omega 3, 6 and Lutein and beta-carotene. I recommend you get both, too. $57.95-$59.95
DEVITA
Straight up, you should be using an SPF year ’round. End of story. I’ve been using DeVita’s Solar Protective Moisturizer SPF 30 for ages. Why do I love thee? Well, mostly because it doesn’t feel as though I’m wearing an SPF, so there’s nothing thick, sticky or heavy about it. In fact, it feels just like a day lotion and I wear it everyday over my face oils. The ingredients are pure and I also use their Solar Body Block every Summer. If you’re in the market for an SPF that’s light, has clean ingredients and won’t break you out, get this! $25.95-$27.95
