Even though I’d been using my trusty stick foundation for years and years, the last few months I’d been itching to try out a liquid one that wouldn’t dry me out or be too heavy. Found! Here’s the new Alima Pure Liquid Silk Foundation and their new their Cream Concealer!
LIQUID SILK FOUNDATION
I was so hopeful about the new Liquid Silk Foundation from Alima Pure after I saw it on The Detox Market site, but I was so nervous that it might not be a good fit for me. It is, it is! I don’t know if it’s the colder weather coming up or what, but for some reason, I’d been wanting to find a great liquid foundation for a change that would give my skin a bit more of a moisturized look. When I saw the name of this new foundation, I was convinced I needed to give it a try.
Okay, so on to the foundation and why it’s become my new favorite. First off, it’s light like a lotion, so smooth and, like the name says, silky. It really does spread on so easily, too. What I love about it is that it doesn’t coat the skin like a heavy mask, but instead it is highly moisturizing (without feeling at all oily) and is buildable. So, it goes on sheer, but you can add on to get the coverage you want. It evens out the skin without leaving it dry or cakey. It comes in 10 shades which compliment their cream concealers (more on that below). If you want even more coverage, set it with their satin Matte Foundation for full matte coverage.

Pearl: For light skin tones with cool or neutral undertones.
Dream: For light to medium skin tones with cool or neutral undertones.
Suede: For medium skin tones with cool or neutral undertones.
Muse: For medium to deep skin tones with cool or neutral undertones.
Cashmere: For deep skin tones with cool or neutral undertones.
Dew: For light skin tones with warm or neutral undertones.
Echo: For light to medium skin tones with warm or neutral undertones.
Spice: For medium skin tones with warm or neutral undertones.
Lush: For medium to deep skin tones with warm or neutral undertones.
Heat: For deep skin tones with warm or neutral undertones.
CREAM CONCEALER
Again, Alima Pure has nailed it with their super creamy and hydrating Cream Concealer. It’s great for hiding dark circles, blemishes (won’t give them that cakey look) conceals hyper pigmentation and brightens under the eyes! Best yet? The ingredients are really moisturizing with beeswax, avocado oil, shea butter and vitamin E. It’s not heavy, but rather light, but definitely gives coverage. It also has been staying under my eyes really well, too. It comes in ten shades that go along with the Liquid Silk Foundation shades. Another bonus? It is refillable, so there’s less wasted plastic!
